Kaisercraft Tuesday Tip - 9th June

Yes!! It's my turn again for a Tuesday Tip...

STENCILS -

I was thinking about which products Kaisercraft produce which you may not think of using in a different way. With the introduction of the Kaisermist (10 fabulous colours!!) it's easy to spritz any or a combination through any one of the various Stencils that make up the range...Or smear some modelling paste or Gel Medium through a stencil and have a fabulous effect.

But, did you think of using the stencil as a template for "Doodling"?
I've created a layout using the Brick Stencil ( T606) - chosen for it's larger space to doodle inside of  but any stencil will work.

I've adhered the Specialty paper (PS408 Bloom) together with P1848 Overgrown (the cute pink gingham print and the reverse is the coral floral print which is torn) - Spritz KM110 Pink, KM107 Peach and KM109 Red onto T606 'Bricks', allow to dry and wipe the residual off the gloss images of the Specialty paper - it's like magic!!

Again place the Brick Stencil over the sprayed image and using a black fine line pen outline each brick, then just 'Doodle' inside the lines - how easy! I've also fussy cut some bricks in patterned paper to add some coloured bricks - wouldn't an entire brick wall look great as part of a background?
...and 'Doodling' can be incorporated into a card too!!

While you're Doodling, why not Doodle in your envelope liner too!
An assortment of Paper Blooms and Mini Paper Blooms (F640 Fairy Floss, F664 Fire Red, F662 Coral, F663 Hot Pink, F668 Hot Pink, F657 Fairy Floss, F669 Fire Red) were used to embellish around the photo and the Title was from the Script Words Sticker sheet (ST919)
Have you noticed all the Adult Colouring Books that have recently hit the market - why not outline any of the Kaisercraft Stencil and start colouring...I think the Doiley and the Butterflies would look fantastic 'coloured'!!
If you try this technique, please show us your results on the Kaisercraft Facebook page...we'd love to see!!
All you need is a fine line Black pen...
